Dara O’Briain is Ireland’s most famous comedian. He is the long term host of topical comedy show ‘Mock the Week’ as well as presenting ‘Dara O’Briains Science Club’. O’Briain went to University College Dublin and obtained a degree in mathematics and theoretical physics before moving into comedy around the turn of the century. Since moving into the field of comedy his popularity has resulted in sold out worldwide tours. Perhaps the reason for his popularity is his appeal to all humor. O’Briains jokes are often topically and he has the ability to generate a laugh from a bad situation. Certainly the topics of his jokes are applicable to all ages without any offense.
